Easy Cocktail Recopies for Students
/Do you like cocktails? we know that the student houses in Southampton have a place to share with other students. What about you call some of them to take a little break and drinks something to refresh. We know that your life is a little stressful take one moment to distract yourself and your friends. Call the students and share the supermarket receipt to make funny moments for your lives. But take care some studyhomes don’t accept alcoholic drinks. Check if you can make a party there. Or you can invite your close friends to watch a movie or have a good talk, play the guitar, sing in your room. And prepare some cocktails for you and them. Many Southampton Student accommodations have a proper space to have fun.
1. Mojito - Yummy!
This Cocktail is the most refreshing one. and if you have Mint at home you can save money. Remember, if you have plants at home you can earn more than you think.
Ingredients:1 lime, 1 tsp granulated sugar, a small handful of mint leaves, plus an extra sprig to serve, 60ml white rum, soda water, to taste.
Preparing
Wash the lemon and the mint leaves. Smash the mint leaves and the sugar on a small jar. Mix the lemon juice until you smell the mint in all the jars. Add the run, Mix with the tablespoon. Complete with the water. Use the mint leaves to decorate.
2. Sex on the beach cocktail - Easy! Nice!
This cocktail is so easy and fast to prepare. The harder thing you have to do is go to the supermarket to buy the ingredients.
Ingredients - ice, 50ml vodka, 25ml peach schnapps, 2 oranges, juiced, plus 2 slices to garnish, 50ml cranberry juice, glacé cherries, to garnish (optional).
Preparing
Prepare two cups with ice before. Take the Vodka, the peach schnapps, and the fruits juice and put on a big jar, and mix. Take the cups and divide the mix into both.
3. Pink gin iced tea - Gin is a practical thing, you can add some iced fruits, and ready you have a good drink!
Ingredients: 1 chamomile tea bag, 100ml pink gin, 100ml spiced rum, 100ml elderflower cordial, 100ml pink grapefruit juice, ice, thyme sprigs, to garnish
Preparing
Take the tea bag and put on the boiled water for 2-3 minutes or follow the instructions from the tea packet. After that remove it and wait for 5 minutes. Take the pink gin, the rum, elderflower cordial, Grapefruit juice. Add ice and mix. After you take the thyme and mix again. It’s ready to enjoy!
4. Sweet Manhattan cocktail - Easy peasy, lemon squeeze!
Ingredients: 50ml bourbon or rye whiskey, 25ml Rosso vermouth, 5ml syrup from a jar of, maraschino cherries (we used Luxardo), 2 dashes Angostura bitters, ice, For the garnish, maraschino cherry, a twist of pared lemon.
Preparing: Mix all the ingredients in a mixing cup and strain in a glass of cocktail. Easy no? You can garnish with some pared lemon
5. Caipirinha - humm! tropical cocktail!
Ingredients: 2 lemons, chopped into wedges, plus extra lime wedges to serve (optional), 5 tbsp, golden caster sugar, 200ml cachaça, ice.
Preparing: Slice the lemon in thin wedges after cur like a Halfmoon. Smash the slices with the sugar in a cup. Top the cup with ice and add the Cachaça. Mix and end with lemon wedges.
Obs: you can find the Cachaça in some drink stores in Southampton.
6. Easy bloody mary - This is only who likes!
Ingredients: small handful ice, 200ml tomato juice, 50ml vodka, 2
tbsp amontillado sherry, 1 tsp, sherry vinegar, or to taste, pinch celery salt, Worcestershire sauce, to taste, Tabasco, to taste, squeeze of lemon juice, celery sticks, and lemon wedges, to serve (optional).
Preparing
Take a cocktail cup and mix tomato juice, vodka, amontillado, and sherry vinegar. add celery salt, season to taste the Worcestershire sauce, tabasco, and lemon juice. Taste to check if you need more sherry vinegar. You can add celery sticks, lemon wedges, and a sprinkle of freshly if you like. I confess this is easy but not for me.
7. Sidecar - So refreshing!
Ingredients: 50ml Cognac, 25ml triple sec, 25ml lemon juice, a handful of ice.
Preparing
Leave a coupe glass on the refrigerator. Mix all the ingredients in the Cocktail shaker. Mix until the cocktail shaker feels cold. Strain the cocktail in the cold glass. This is the best cocktail, isn’t it?
8. Strawberry mojito - Aww! strawberries.
Ingredients, 9-10 strawberries, 2 limes, chopped, 2 tbsp granulated sugar, 2 mint sprigs, leaves picked, ice, 350ml white rum, 600ml sparkling water.
Preparing
Smash the strawberry, the lime, and the sugar in a jar. Smash the mint leaves and add a pinch of black pepper. Add a lot of ice, rum, and sparkle water. Do you imagine that you would see an easy recipe like that?
9. Frozen margarita - In one mix you can make, wow! This is really easy.
Ingredients, 50ml tequila, 25ml triple sec (we used Cointreau), 25ml lime juice, 15ml sugar syrup (see 'Goes well with' below), a large handful of ice, a wedge of lime, to garnish.
Preparing
Put aside the sliced lime. Put all the ingredients in the blender and blitz until you see that it is smooth. Put in a glass, garnish with the lime, and serve.
10. Black Russian cocktail - If you are addicted to coffee, this is perfect for you. And give energy.
Ingredients: 50ml vodka, 25ml coffee liqueur, ice, 1 maraschino cherry, cola to top up, chilled (optional).
Preparing
Add in a glass with ice the vodka and coffee liqueur and mix gently for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Add the Cherry. It’s ready. You can add chilled cola if you want.
Here are some easy recipes to make. The only harder thing that you have to do is to buy the ingredients. These recipes were selected from the BBC good food, it was search thinking in the student life and studyhomes. You don’t have much time to prepare things that you need a long process. Thinking about it I choose these recipes. The Southampton student accommodation was a relevant factor to choose these recipes.
